The guys from Magic Carpet made some really lovely things at yesterday’s session, so now we have backgrounds to go with our brilliant characters. Looking forward to filming it all in May!

Fewer peeps than usual but some fantastic, imaginative comicsing last night, including a zig-zag folding comic from NKOTB Fin!

Here’s the animation we made at Teign Heritage Centre recently, people came up with very original “visions” of how life might have been when fishing off Newfoundland in the early 19th century! BUT Napoleon, as featured in this film, really did have a (leaky) submarine back then… Amazing.

That was so much fun! Our first ever comics club at the fantastic TAAG in Teignmouth- lots of brilliant ideas, drawing and chat from some very talented young people! This week we were concentrating on character design and development and we had an amazing variety, from “Cookie Man” to a Pug astronaut. 🙂 Looking forward to next Monday’s session – we still have about 3/4 places left, so get in touch SOON if you want to come along!

It’s finally happening! A brand new Comics Club on Monday evenings after school at TAAG in Teignmouth. It will cost £5 per session and you will need to book.

It kicks off on Monday 6th March, so if you want to come along you’ll need to get your skates on! After that it’ll run on every Monday evening during term time 🙂

We’ll be doing loads of exciting activities including character design, stories and everything from aliens to zombies to superheroes. We’ll also be doing a bit of animation and a lot of drawing!

Brrr!! IT IS COLD!!!! But it is January 🙂 Since new year I’ve been thinking a lot about vikings, norse legends, Up Helly Aa and doing some drawing. I would love to have a winged hat.
